Senior Key Account Manager

We tackle loneliness and involuntary social isolation by developing communication tools that help those affected. Our products include AV1, the telepresence robot for children with long-term illness, and KOMP, the one-button screen connecting generations. We are in an exciting stage of growth in our UK operations and are building up our London team. We’re looking for an experienced salesperson with a contagious energy and can-do attitude, who is passionate about helping reduce social isolation and loneliness.

Core responsibilities

You will be responsible for identifying and delivering on new B2B business opportunities, with a particular focus on our new product KOMP. You will conduct targeted prospecting and detailed research into relevant sales channels, to secure meetings with senior decision-makers; prepare for and participate in these sales meetings, and provide detailed follow-up, creating intelligent, insight-led sales or partnership proposals. You will create market strategies and set sales targets, and report back on these regularly to track progress. You will spread our values as well as our products, in order to reduce social isolation as effectively as possible.

Who are you?

You are experienced in sales and business development and have both a business and entrepreneurial mindset. You believe in helping others, and you can see how technology should be a part of the solution. You understand and embrace value-based selling. You are passionate about reducing loneliness.

You know your way around the British public sector and the decision-making process. You will ideally have a background in selling to both public bodies such as councils and the NHS, as well as to commercial retail partners such as department stores.You have the ability to reach challenging sales targets and to analyse and prioritise new opportunities. You are structured and have experience with sales management and customer relations. You’re a good team player and have a can-do-attitude.

We use Slack to communicate on a day to day basis and you will be heavily involved in what the whole company is up to during our weekly get-together on Fridays and our Monday info meeting. We all work at an office (so no one should be all alone), and we make the most of it by having lunch together.
