Schools Ambassador

Join our mission to reduce social isolation and loneliness, by ensuring the success of the AV1 telepresence robot in schools across the UK

Full-time · London

About No Isolation

No Isolation's mission is to bring people together through warm technology. We do this through UX-driven innovation, to reduce the social isolation experienced by groups in society.

We have two products on the market today. AV1 is a telepresence robot for children who cannot attend school due to long-term illness. KOMP is a device that connects analogue grandparents with their digital relatives.

Core responsibilities

Your primary goal is to ensure the success of AV1 in schools across the UK. This is so that we fulfil our mission to reduce the social isolation and loneliness experienced by children and young people with a long-term illness.

You will be a source of insight into the education sector, the challenges faced by teachers, and the opportunities for our products and services.

You will build close relationships with teachers across the UK and create a network of pioneer schools using AV1, for shared learning and best practices. Through focus groups and field work, you will understand and analyse the barriers to adoption of AV1, and build solutions to overcome them. This will include investigating systemic barriers such as attendance codes, school internet configurations, privacy and safeguarding concerns, and statutory guidance.

As well as managing the strategic overview, you will be hands on, working closely with our key account manager and sales manager to ensure new AV1 customers get off to the best start, through delivering school training sessions and refreshing resources. You will be responsible for monitoring the activation of new AV1s.

Working with the marketing team you will feed your valuable insights back into our outreach to ensure more schools find out about the fantastic AV1 solution and have the confidence and ability to implement it.

Key tasks

  • Analyse the barriers of AV1 adoption in UK schools
  • Build a network of teachers to support the successful dissemination of AV1
  • Create resources and strategies for the education sector
  • Deliver school events, training sessions and assemblies
  • Manage the onboarding of AV1 by new school users
  • Identify and find solutions for snags and deficiencies

Who are you?

You are an inspirational, charismatic, and trustworthy leader with the ability to diffuse confidence and energy when meeting someone for the first time. You have direct experience working in mainstream education, understand the everyday challenges faced, and have a demonstrated ability to bring creative and innovative solutions or systems into the classroom. You are a deep listener, and empathetic mediator. You are a creative, solution-oriented doer, who always looks to multiply time tomorrow by solving the problems of today. You are energetic and enthusiastic about travelling around the country for face-to-face meetings, training sessions, or events. Most of all, you are passionate about equal opportunity for unwell children, and have a broader ambition to help reduce social isolation of all groups in society.

Characterising the right personal fit for No Isolation is difficult, because everybody is different, and we value our diverse team. We want our team to be representative of society. The range of perspectives and experience diversity brings is an asset to our organisation and we want to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all, regardless of age, disability, gender identity or gender expression, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation or any other equality characteristic. However, our employees share some common traits: they are kind, self-propelled, hardworking, great team players, responsible and enjoy a good laugh. As the UK team is small, you will play an integral role in helping build the cultural foundation of the London office.
