We are No Isolation, a company founded in 2015 in Oslo, Norway, dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation. Today we are 50 talented and passionate people working across Europe, with offices in Oslo, Munich, and London, and exciting expansion plans.

We design and sell “warm technology” products that create genuine feelings of human connection and belonging for those who cannot physically be together due to illness, age, or distance.

Our consumer business is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Chief E-Commerce Officer to be responsible for our scaling in the B2C segment. You will lead and manage all day-to-day e-commerce operations and responsibilities, identifying trends and online growth opportunities.

Our current products – AV1 & Komp

We develop, test and build prototypes of our products in house, at our Oslo office. They are assembled and distributed from our partners in Stavanger and Trondheim.

Our first product was AV1, a telepresence robot, developed for children and young adults that are unable to physically attend school. It serves as the eyes, ears and voice of the student in the classroom, who controls it via an app on their phone or tablet. AV1 was launched in 2016, and is currently in use in more than 1 700 classrooms across Europe. AV1 started as a tool for children with long term illness, but over the years it has become a key tool for children and young adults who cannot attend school for a variety of reasons. After AV1 was launched, we developed Komp, a one-button computer for seniors who did not grow up with technology. Through an app, family members and friends can send photos, messages and make video calls to Komp. It is simple to use, giving its user confidence and a sense of mastery. There is no need to remember passwords, use touch screens, or navigate complicated user interfaces. There are around 8 000 Komps in use today, with more than 50 000 monthly app users. As the population ages, millions of people are in need of technology like Komp. We are expecting substantial growth in our Komp sales, in all current markets. About the role  

The Chief E-Commerce Officer will be responsible for our commercial operations towards the Business to Consumer market (Komp). Komp is sold through our website and through partners (retailers). We have high ambitions for the coming years, and in this role, you would be responsible for reaching our company wide targets with regards to Komp B2C. The CECO will be given the opportunity to build the team that will bring Komp to thousands of families, and be part of the management team at No Isolation. 

Core responsibilities: 

  • Design, execute, and adapt our B2C commercial strategy

  • Hire, lead, and grow a world-class e-commerce team

  • Build strong commercial partnerships with retailers and agencies that increase the presence and availability of our products

  • Manage budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC

  • Ensure successful planning, execution and optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic and own media channels

  • Design and execute performance management system and analysis that generate insight and steer the commercial investments to achieve our targets

  • Ideate, explore, and develop creative business opportunities to further drive growth

  • Work closely with the management to share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback and present results

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has experience in selling and scaling a consumer product through digital channels in multiple markets. You are independent, structured, confident and highly skilled at E-Commerce with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a performance marketing role of which a minimum of 2 years in managing/leading positions.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Solid experience in scaling a consumer product internationally

  • Worked with innovative solutions, creating business models and value propositions
  • Hands on experience working with digital marketing as well as management experience in this field
  • A strong ability to inspire and lead a team
  • Prior experience in a similar role with hands-on experience building effective multi-channel marketing strategies, including affiliate marketing, PPC, SEO, social media and other digital channels.
  • Solid expertise in campaign and channel analysis and reporting, including Google Analytics experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills to leverage data, metric, analytics, A/B testing, and consumer behavior trends to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Goal oriented, open-minded, curious, with strong analytical skills and a problem solving mindset
  • Effective communication skills, and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders
