No Isolation is seeking a self driven, adaptable Business Development Manager who is passionate about inclusion and innovation to join our London-based team.

About No Isolation 

We are No Isolation, a company dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation, run by 50 passionate changemakers, entrepreneurs, and technologists. Our journey started in 2015 in Oslo, Norway, where our headquarters are located. We work across Europe, with offices in Munich and London, and have exciting expansion plans.

We are guided by strong values of equality and inclusion, as well as the belief that business can be a force for good. We design and sell “warm technology” products that create genuine feelings of human connection and belonging for those who cannot physically be together due to illness, age, or distance.

After having created the world’s first telepresence robot for children with long term illness, No Isolation launched a one-button computer for those unable to use other communication tools - called Komp.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in London and play an instrumental role in establishing Komp market awareness.  In turn they will help improve digital inclusion rates for seniors and adults with learning disabilities and help modernise health and social care across the UK.

About the role 

The Business Development Manager’s role is to study the market, understand the pains and needs of our potential customers, and then design and execute a plan for how we can help them with our products and services. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing our B2B partners in the health and social care space, including NHS Trusts, technology enabled care services, Adults Services, and Home Care.

This will involve:

  • Seeking out and building relationships with sales prospects

  • Inputting on, and helping execute, marketing strategies
  • Being an agent of change, helping to communicate a vision to customers, enabling them to see where and how the Komp solution will fit into their current services
  • Demonstrations and sales negotiations
  • Writing bids and managing procurement processes with customers
  • Market research and promotional strategy
  • Customer feedback and product development input
  • Sales forecasting, analysis, and pipeline management

Who are we looking for?

  •  4+ years of sales experience in relevant sector and demonstrable experience in acquiring large public sector sales
  •  Passionate about reducing social isolation
  • Driven by the exciting prospect of helping grow a young company
  • Relationship builder, thrive at networking and inspiring others with your vision
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proactive problem solver, self-driven and motivated by challenges
  • Strategic thinker
