Loneliness is one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century. No Isolation creates groundbreaking solutions to this problem for some of the most vulnerable in society.

About No Isolation

We are No Isolation, a company dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation, run by 50 passionate changemakers, entrepreneurs, and technologists. We are guided by strong values of equality and inclusion, as well as the belief that business can be a force for good. We design and sell “warm technology” products that create genuine feelings of human connection and belonging for those who cannot physically be together due to illness, age, or distance.

After having created the world’s first telepresence robot for children with long term illness, No Isolation launched a one-button computer for those unable to use other communication tools - called Komp.

More about Komp

Komp is a revolutionary piece of technology for those who didn’t grow up with the internet. Its brilliance is in its simplicity, which has enabled 99 year olds to video call with relatives for the first time, dementia care home residents to find a sense of calm, and adults with learning disabilities to live independently. Komp is owned by families, NHS Trusts, and other health and social care agencies.

“Sometimes brilliance is in the simplicity with which complex problems are solved. That is exactly what Komp does and my whole family is so grateful for what it’s instantly doing for us and my mother.”
